Sometimes in life we think it's only us
But that's a lie if they ain't let you know
Our selfish ways are still destroying us

You look for happiness in vanity

Seems like we are frozen stuck in time
Mostly blind only few can see
Our only hope to climb

Why would I ever think it's cool to live with people trapped in violence

And watch it all fly by like tv channels cause we're blinded
We only care for who we chose while people cry in silence
But that ain't righteous
Do we live for selfishness
Do we see the wealth and bliss before we think to help the rest
Do you think about the stress or how to flex
Worried bout the clothes you dress cause society told you what they don't accept
And what they do so you just hope it sticks
You fit the mold and don't think out the box because you're scared of thinking for your own
You gave full control of everything you are
So you can have the easy life but there's a purpose to the scars
And the pain from falling down without experience you're lost
When we fail then we can teach or someone else will pay the cost
Make a choice, it's up to us
To exercise our voice
Be prepared to suffer way before the rest of us rejoice
Would you rather sit and wait till we're eventually destroyed
