Mystery Meat

I just got fired from my job but I don't
Care because I know I'm better
Than working part-time at some trashy
Fast food restaurant with a hair net on my head
Three hours a week wasn't worth the time
I put into cooking the mystery meat
After gas and insurance twenty bucks
Doesn't seem so sweet

But I've still got my music, I've still got my mind
My lungs are still breathing, there's still so much time
I promise I'll make it, I won't lag behind
I know that I'm worthy, now where should I sign?
