Ideals for Life That Guide Us Every Day, Op. 23

Wonder's time had finally arrived
The test of what he was inside
As fearful thoughts filled his head
His brain was racked, packed with dread
He thought of Twain and tried to focus
See through all the hocus-pocus
So he sat down and took some time
And he tried to focus

But Terror squeezed Wonder tight
In this 23rd chapter, it was dark as night
He walked through the valley no hiding place in sight
The valley of the shadow, the shadow of his death
But would his force overcome Vidi's evil?
Would goodness Triumph over bad?
The time had arrived to test what Wonder was inside

There are things we must remember
There are things we must not forget
There are truths that must be acknowledged
If we are to live life with few regrets
The compass points and shows us the way
To ideals for life that guide us every day

That equality belongs to everyone
Freedom's quest is never done
That truth is always essential
That beauty makes you reverential
Goodness leaves you feeling great
That justice for all must never wait

These ideals are the presents of Wonder
Ideals that Vidi could not put asunder
When Wonder's shell snapped open wide
To reveal a force hidden deep inside
A force that Wonder had
The power to overcome bad
