Truth vs Truth (feat. JR JustReal)

I been through so much shit it's really hard to trust
Watched my closest friendships turned straight to dust
I'm almost famous but never wanted the hype
Just wanted to be my best at conquering mics
I achieved that feat it was a long ass road
A lonely one chosen only path I could go
Never enjoyed much else never wanted a job
Had to get one anyway I became a pops
Sacrifice my kids life for the love of the game
Nowadays my first born barely know my name
I feel really ashamed but there's a story to that
That's why I grind the way I do to turn the fiction to fact
My benediction is crucifixion similar to Jesus
I'm a God in my body parallel to the thesis
As the celebrity grows the jealousy increases
Not knowing that I'm struggling inside barely breathing
Could it be decisions of the past that caught the present
I paid a lot of prices to learn all these lessons
The deaths circulated around all these blessings
My wealth might be centered around confessions
In my profession I'm paid to offer suggestions
I got all the answers but who really holds the questions
That's the curse of a genius I'm flawed with intuition
I'm a Libra so you might not understand my decisions
I got a gift it's a curse because it's tied to premonitions
Almost died from 2 crashes that were sleepy demolitions
Never understood why in those times God was so forgiving
So I'm trying to do my best to work on my forgiveness
I'm not a Bible thumper but I'm spiritual
I say my prayers and do believe in miracles
My aunt died and came back to life hospice
And all you can't tell me about the light
I'm getting older now accepting my place in the game
My aspirations when I was younger are no longer the same
I just want to help people anyway that I can
And maybe a platinum plaque will be part of the plan
But I make music more for the feeling
And give you these verses more for the healing
And the truth is always gonna be less appealing
Because everybody is vulnerable to revealing they true self
They hide behind the chains and the money stack
Just to prove to the consumer you ain't moving wack
Chuck Plat it's a fact I don't have to do none of that
Just listen to these jewels I guarantee you gonna run it back

How could you be honest with me if you ain't honest with you
You should never judge a man if you ain't walk in his shoes
If I could right my wrongs I would take it back
And fix all the mistakes I had
Instead of looking at me like that there's a mirror staring at you right back
I swear I try so hard being the best that I can be
Better man for my family and all you do is stay judging me
I swear I try so hard but I don't know nowhere else to go
I swear this life is all I know I swear this life is all I know
