The Storm

Rains bouncin' off my windshield
Broncos redlining, getting low on fuel
Well I never knew a '95 could top 100 on 35
While each tire and its' treads are all begging for some grip
If the Brazos River rises, if my wheels begin to slip
I'll just slide off to the side and I'd run to you by foot

This rain may flood, sweep us down that river
Wind may take this house, pillar by pillar
But up to know there's nothing I'd wanna leave behind
So take all I can give, just leave her if she's mine

Well the storms moving in, it's cutting down the Bastrop pines
The fogs getting thicker and I can barely see those lines
But there's no storm I won't cross if it led me straight to you
Tell me what's the point in running if you're not the one I'm running to

Rains bouncing off my windshield
Broncos redlining, getting low on fuel
