Dust in My Eyes

When you were young, they said you must be strong
Hold your head up, even when things go wrong
No matter what, don't ever cry
Don't ever let them see, the tears in your eyes

So you go through life, living a lie
You say it don't hurt, even when it's time to say goodbye
And if it hurts so bad, that you it makes you cry
You just lie and say, it's dust in my eyes

Now you're older, and know a thing or two
You try to be different, with a new point of view
You've learnt to love and now you can share
And you've found a way, to show that you care

Now you know your heart, is able to fly
You've learnt to share the pain, you don't have to lie
And when it hurts so bad that it makes you cry
You know it's time to show the tears in your eyes
And I'll never say there's dust in my eyes
