Just like a moth into a flame
I slip to the dimension
Where my former self remains (In isolation)
Every time I close my eyes I see
This vivid and recurring dream
Where I walk a maze of innervisions
Then look up ahead and I see it
Every night

I see the ghost of my past incarnation
Shapeless and white
Gazing its eyes
Straight into mine
It says

"Welcome to the vast infinity
You are me and I'm what you used to be
We're here to see how you die" (Pointing toward the sky with a grin on its face)
"Just call me the Omen of your dreams
The seer of your eternity
Now look to the sky"

Then, it's gone
The sight, that's turned me
Psychopathic by day to a hostage by night
Inside, my head, repeats, the scene
Of me succumbing to the prophecy
It's digging, and digging
It drives me fucking sick

Utter Disaster

"Won't you just come home"

I break
The senseless ploy
I rescind my existence, transcend to the void
To the maze, across my foe
The ghost then disappears and leaves his incarnation stranded
Where I wait for my own

We pass the fading torch
And hope that there's a heart like this one
That's better than the last
And stronger than my own
Concealed in flesh and bone
The time has come for me to go home
