Sunburnt Mind

If I go outside
I could clear my mind
and breath the sunlight
I wonder what it's like
to have all the time and do my day right
Last time I tried
I fell behind
and got lost in it
Something I know
I can let go if I just rearrange
Worry never comes
when I got the sun between my fingers
I'm happy that I'm done
the changes that will come
something to grow from
I wonder what I'll make
the thoughts cloud my mind
and dirty my plate
sometimes I wish
for a clean dish
so I could have a piece of silence
Bare feet, one of a kind
I long for the sunburnt mind
something that, I had that time
That time I slept till the end of the light
Now it's just a figment neurological pigment
the place itself is indifferent
and it does not change less I'm back in it
Worry never comes
when I got the sun between my fingers
I'm happy that I'm done
the changes that will come
something to grow from
I wonder what I'll make
the thoughts cloud my mind
and dirty my plate
sometimes I wish
for a clean dish
so I could have a piece of silence
Bare feet, one of a kind
I long for the sunburnt mind
something that, I had that time
That time I slept till the end of the light
What happened when the day was done
I couldn't tell you if you pointed a gun
Some people say inexplainable
but that don't qualify for smokin' a bowl
So let me tell ya' just one more time
It's silence that I want not too hard to mind
Bare feet, one of a kind
I long for the sunburnt mind
something that, I had that time
That time I slept till the end of the light
