I dreamt I felt your breath

Was it a purple cloud drifting in my eye?
Was it a fading flower telling me goodbye?
And I do sometimes walk
Where I've never been
Where I do sense these sweet things that
I've never seen

On my fingers and in my face
You said there is no death
We just go to another place

I tried to catch the moon
Cutting cards with fate
But I got drunk to soon

The strangest words

Every word hurts

Glowing warm around my head
But then I got so scared
Someone told me
That you were dead

Was it a burning car that we were passing by?
