Interlude (Interview)
Welcome to the podcast
Where we interview young upcoming artists
Today we got Kendrick Anders
Hell yea!
Ha ha
So lets get straight into it
What inspired you to mix genres in an album
Um well I wanted to mix genres because
I wanted people to have uh a wide variety of music to listen to
If you don't like one song you might like the next
If you don't like any
Well, Well shit I don't know
But I wanted people to have a wide variety of music to listen to
Not just rap, Not just pop, not just anything
Thats good
What was the inspiration for the album name?
Well originally I wanted to name the album blue eyes
Because it was originally made for a girl that I really cared about
Um This girl uh had a very big significance in my life
Umm she had blue eyes but um I was talking to my friend
And she was saying that its a bit too specific
And right when we were talking on the phone
A blue jay flew right in front of me
And it just hit
I wanted to name the album Blue Jay
It just rolls off the tongue
Its a nice name
Yea it is it is a nice name
What made you want to do music?
Well kinda my entire life I've always been involved with music
Um I really got involved
When my life kinda just went to went to shit
I got involved with a lot of drugs
My life kinda uh...
I almost ended my life to drugs
And when this girl left I didn't have a lot of people to talk to
My brother was there for me
And um he was a big help
The music uh kinda just helped me release my emotions everything I was feeling
And It really helped a lot so...
I needed the music
Thats good Thats good
Last final question
Is there anyone you wanna give thanks to?
I really wanna thank my brother
If its not for my brother
I don't know where I would be right now
I would probably be in the ground to be honest
Um my brother really helped me a lot so
Thank you thank you to my brother Kenneth thank you
And thats all the time we have for today
Thank you Kendrick for being apart of this podcast
Thank you for having me
Thank you for this
And for the listeners
Hope you enjoy the rest of the album
Yea stay safe
