Lighthouse

She's standing on a tower
Believes she's got the power
To carry the sky
In a lighthouse so high
That she never saw
The coastline before
The storm is raging
The ship is breaking
We become one
With the sea and the sun
And the last thing they will see
The coastline and me

I have never seen blue
So vast at frst sight
Never heard
Sea water crushing on the hill
Never seen
Blue sky meet the sea
I never felt
The sun playing with the wind
Never ever heard

What forms the foundation
Of entire generations
Is not ones' strength
But what is it
That remains
Holding countless ropes
Through prayers and hopes
They hold the sky
On a lighthouse so high
Making stable what's unable
To stand on its own
Is it enough
