Shucks
What's it like to be a 22-year-old creating in Singapore?
I feel like-
I feel like I'm still tryna figure out who I am as a creative
Because of-
I don't know if it's the way we that were all raised here
I don't know if it's because of the way school was
Or education in general
But I'm still tryna figure out my place in Singapore, as a whole and
I feel lost a lot of the time
I feel like I'm young and I have a long way to go
And I feel like there are so many things I want to do but I can't
And I feel like
I feel like what people say is right sometimes
That "music can't get you anywhere"
or "music can't change anything" but that's not how I want it to be
And-
SHUCKS
And I'm still tryna figure out-
I'm still tryna figure out the opinions that matter here
And I'm still tryna figure out who I'm doing this for
Is it myself or is it for others or...?
I don't know
But
Yeah I don't know
It's-
It's a process that I know will have no end because
I have to continuously grow and learn new things along the way
And there's no right way to do it and there's no wrong way to do it
But yeah
It can be quite demoralising
It can be quite hopeless a lot of the times
But yeah
I'm just tryna take it one day at a time
And see where it leads me eventually
I don't know
I feel like-
I feel like I'm still tryna figure out who I am as a creative
Because of-
I don't know if it's the way we that were all raised here
I don't know if it's because of the way school was
