Voiceless Siren

The silent sleepy moon is rising high
From the lonely deepest purple seas
Just the wind and waves
And the air with salty scent

In the waters of the sea
Impassiveness and bliss
But the sea sometimes
Impartial, might not forgive
Seas might not forget

But the stiff waves
'Round you slowly decay
They erode away
Lonely for eternity

Body strong
Mind unknown
Face of porcelain
Gentle grip
Deadly charm
Your certain fate
This primal want
Unreal to satisfy

I look for answers in the depths
I listen to my quickened aching breath
My silent song
My throat
My chest
My voiceless, my calling
There is only muted wind

Still looking back
There were these times hungry for life
And full of righteous exaltation
This sinful song

Your sweet oblivion
Your deadly melodies
And charm

No other worlds exist
No doubt just taking lives
The sinful thirst

Your whim
No weep
Your grip
Their sweet demise
But what if silence is more fatal?
