Waging War

From a lack of communication relationships sink
It's a basic instinct to get defensive when you feel attacked
To get submissive when you feel attached
We were moving really fast what we built didn't last

Im always on the move because complacency is weak
It's too late to offer peace we're already waging war
It's spilling over into the street knocking down the neighbors door
But we claim to praise the lord
This is what what we need a savior for

I felt the tension in the room like it was tangible
No self control somebody done raised an animal
When they make moves for attention that's understandable
Bridges burn, but not every relationship is flammable

We were so close almost undetachable
The enemy divides its methods are mathematical
I've been working so hard I deserve a sabaitcal
I'm onto something magical

A quick decision based on emotion is irrational
Instead of approaching a situation head on my thinking tends to be lateral
And its more than just my opinion if it's factual
There's many little gs but only one G that's capital

We flirt with death He works in the supernatural
Change is necessary my transformation was radical
But admirable, gradual, and Practical
It's better to be overdressed than too casual

From a lack of communication relationships sink
It's a basic instinct to get defensive when you feel attacked
To get submissive when you feel attached
We were moving really fast what we built didn't last

Im always on the move because complacency is weak
It's too late to offer peace we're already waging war
It's spilling over into the street knocking down the neighbors door
But we claim to praise the lord
This is what what we need a savior for
