Prologue: Dawn

The sun is spinning round
And the shadows, they die.
But I know, in time, that I won't fall behind.
As I stand beyond the depths of fear,
I surely understand the things I've missed.

But I can see the flowers start to bloom,
When I'm with you,
You're smiling too.
And then all of the dust, it starts to scatter.
But you won't move.
You've been here too,
You've been here too.

Ashen faces grasp my gaze.
Draw me out of this embrace.
I can surely tell you why I'm listening.
When your eyes, they start to close
And the horizon starts to fade,
I'm on my own two feet again.
Are you listening?
It's not sinking in.
Am I sick of it?

I can see the flowers start to wilt,
When I'm with you,
You're crying too.
And then all of the dust, it starts to rain down.
But you don't move.
You've been here too,
You've been here too.
