Grogan’s Druid

Grogan's druid wears Dunlop runners
He's gone under cover for the day that's in it
Christ-like he sits drinking his ale
Herding his sheep over whimsical tales
When he was younger he says he was handsome
Perspiration drips from his head
I hung on every single word that he said
Grogan's druid sits by the door, back to the wall, holding court
Winds up the locals for sport
I wonder if he's still on the go
He told me that I might succeed and he gave me a sense of belief
Grogan's druid.
