Red Yellow Green

The city lays before my feet
It cuts like water, raging water rushing towards its defeat
To guide the lost explorers home
I guard the wanderers, but the wanderers wonder why I get it wrong

Can I let you just go?
With such indifference there must be a recompense

You don't know me
You don't see me at all
You pass by me
Without a look into my eye

My pedigree is quite elite
The stalwart beacons I resemble are resembled when we meet
But yet you trample my decrees
You tempt the lightning, but the lightning is just wasted on the trees

Can I let you just go?
With such indifference there must be a recompense

You don't know me
You don't see me at all
You pass by me
Without a look into my eye

Don't stop moving
Drawing closer
Two ways end on
One decision

The purists perished in the flames
They trust their truth, but the true truth that I revealed was not the same
Why did they disregard the sign?
They made their choices, now the choices for their consequence are mine

Can I let you just go?
With such indifference there must be a recompense

You don't know me
You don't see me at all
You pass by me
Without a look into my eye
