Bigger Plans
People say to me don't forget me when you're famous
Funny thing is usually I don't remember what their name is
It's not cause I'm mean I'm just like way better with faces
I'll try my best to not forget but first I have to make it
People asking me if my songs are making money
That's not really what it's all about it's kinda funny
How they can be so rude and still expect anything from me
I'm an artist not a business I make music out of nothing
And if you don't like that
You can go back
To doing something
You think is important
Say that you might have
To drink till you black
Whatever gets you feeling
Those endorphins
I've got Bigger plans than this
You've got Something wrong with it
And I'm not about to stand by
And wave as all the time flies
Away, oh my
Get busy living or get ready to die
People always ask if I will write a song for them
Well first you have to break my heart or make it whole again
Literally do anything worth picking up a pen
Cause Lack of inspiration equals lack of composition
And if you don't like that
You can go back
To doing something
You think is important
Say that you might have
To drink till you black
Whatever gets you feeling
Those endorphins
I've got Bigger plans than this
You've got Something wrong with it
And I'm not about to stand by
And wave as all the time flies
Away, oh my
Get busy living or get ready to die
And I know most folks have good intentions
When they mention all the music that I've made
But sometimes compliments can feel backhanded
When they span from what they like to what they hate
Awh to what they hate
People say to me don't forget me when you're famous
Funny thing is usually I don't remember what their name is
It's not cause I'm mean I'm just like way better with faces
I'll try my best to not forget but first I have to make it
