Pine Overcoat

I don't add up the years or count my regrets
Looking back on this life there's not a stranger I've met
Never let it be said that I'm stuck in my ways
I can sleep when I'm dead there's more hell to raise

Never caught a foul out in Wrigley field
Road my hog down the PCH
Got to sing on the center stage
Or sleep out under the stars
But it's not to late

So much left for me to do
Before I'm fitted for my suit
And slip into this pine overcoat

I've been running these roads and I'm over the hill
Time is my reminder that I can't sit still
Got a bucket full of dreams and these worn out shoes
I might climb Mount Everest grow a Fu Manchu

Never took my shot at the rodeo
Or played the pebbles of PGA
Seen the wonders of Yellowstone
Hung on the break of the perfect wave
But it's not too late

So much left for me to do
Before I'm fitted for my suit
And slip into this pine overcoat

So much left for me to do
Before I'm fitted for my suit
And slip into this pine overcoat
And slip into this pine overcoat

Before I slip into
Before I slip into
Before I slip into
Before I slip into
Before I slip into
Before I slip into this pine overcoat
