My Weekly Valentines

I got a phone call, on the hardest day I'd had yet
My new obligation, Wednesdays are taken from me now
I got a warning, that I'd hate what I had in store
But I don't really mind it, I've been on the bus before

I saw you do coke, in the kitchen before your set
I used to be scared of it, now I just look the other way
I saw you walk in, you look different, but still act the same
All of these changes, but you're still lost like us inside

I left for a while, bigger exciting things to do
Am I starting to miss it, like I always knew they did
Wow how I'm back now, smaller, different than it used to be
They're the same old people, playing licks for Jerry
