find my way home

My friends are switching cities and prom's in two semesters
Their graduation gowns are pretty
I just got my acceptance letter
Freshman year of high school when I was just 14
Sleeping in the ballroom
Surrounded by my dream

Our six person house will soon be down to five
Not sure where he's going but he'll turn out just fine
Leo is the captain of his baseball team
Soon he'll be in collage
Again a freshman with a dream

And I'll be left behind
I'll be left behind

Tearing down the pictures from my now empty wall
My house will be empty of my siblings these next four falls
Mom and dad got married bought the first place of their own
Had four kids in the center of the city that we call our home

Baseball hats to graduation caps and starting a life brand new
Town house with no backyard to a home with the 83 view
No matter where we all end up
I'll find my way home to you
You won't be left behind
I won't leave you behind
