Crumbling Brain

My crumbling brain
Leads a life on its own
With surrendering thoughts
That cannot be shown
They're the last to remain
As I collect more
With every breath I take
Build all those structures up
Just to see them tumble down again

They reveal themselves to be
The soul reason to survive
'Cause sometimes the darkness brings out a spark
That shines so bright
It can't be ignored night after night
I'm lucky I'll never be bored
But from time to time
I'd like to shut down my brain
Because to keep my thoughts inside
I have to battle every single thing
And then when doubts begin
To form inside my head
My skin will scream
The tears are hot
Cannot be hold back

Then I'll say I'm fine
I know I'm lying
But my thoughts are way too fast to write them down
So I just slip away

My crumbling brain
Leads a life on its own
With surrendering thoughts
That cannot be shown
They're the last to remain
As I collect more
With every breath I take
Build all those structures up
Just to see them tumble down again

I learned that the love
Of every being in this world
Is not enough
To fill the holes my memories have learned to bust
Since even though my heart can love
My brain has forgot how to trust
I need more time
My brain will find
A way to fill the holes of pain
For me to understand
That it has been played to my mind

Then I'll say I'm fine
I know I'm lying
But my thoughts are way too fast to write them down
So I just slip away

My crumbling brain
Leads a life on its own
With surrendering thoughts
That cannot be shown
They're the last to remain
As I collect more with every breath I take
Build all those structures up
Just to see them tumble down again

(Solo)

My crumbling brain
Leads a life on its own
With surrendering thoughts
That cannot be shown
They're the last to remain
As I collect more with every breath I take
Build all those structures up
Just to see them tumble down again
