Little girl with dark eyes,
But light up amber when the sun rise
Felt out of place for most her life
Mixed race child ain't got a paradise
From the views she see's it too
Her daddy loved his rendezvous
But she had love
Till pieces of her heart turned off

And it wasn't enough to save her
She didn't know any better
The way she coped to fill the void
Her angel left without her
Her innocence and respect for her
Self was untaught, un-dealt, and toyed

Little boys pulled her hair
Was told that's when you knew that they cared
Didn't realize she was conditioned
To believe future abuses weren't there
She almost made it to heaven
Her coping rules never mentioned
That this was too far
Now she has to hide behind the scars
