Trudy

I think back to when I visit Trudy,
Her hair of silk and golden rings.
An angel of death when I first met her,
She traded it all for different wings.

I said to Trudy, "why the sorrow?"
She looked at me with dimpled chin.
Her silent words spoke no tomorrow,
Behind her face I saw a grin.

"Oh Trudy, make me a drink", I said.
I kicked back in an easy chair and watch.
She came into the room with her clothes in one hand.
"I know you want me", she said,
Pointing her finger at the bed,
"You're gonna do me good tonight",
She took her finger and shut off the light.

Oh Trudy, I brought the good out in you.
I think I changed you somewhere;
From an angel of death to an angel of love.
You said to me, "Why do you care?"
Cause I know, cause I know.

I wanna delve into your soul,
You're the one who makes me whole.
I wanna delve into your soul,
You got my mind out of control.
I wanna delve into your soul,
You're the one who makes me whole.
I wanna delve into your soul,
You got my mind out of control.
Trudy.
