January

Random doodles on my notebook
People passing notes in the classroom
Moments coming back from our childhood
Flashbacks of this cold winter afternoon

The teacher was explaining the lesson
But i didn't pay any attention
My hands were freezing cold
So many things I wasn't told

Those little projects
Leading to conflicts
You always were so damn problematic

Snowing outside hats on our heads
Lately been hard to get out of bed
And white doves sitting on a cherry tree
And white gloves in the end of January
Memories sitting on my desk
So many questions I didn't ask
A new chapter was added to the story
In the end of the month of January

I would go out for long walks
Would always remember our morning talks
The things that were in the box
Aren't there anymore

Of course you left me a note
Oh how I cried to what you wrote
Your heart is made out of stone
And oh I, should've known

Those little projects
Leading to conflicts
You always were so damn problematic

Snowing outside hats on our heads
Lately been hard to get out of bed
And white doves sitting on a cherry tree
And white gloves in the end of January
Memories sitting on my desk
So many questions I didn't ask
A new chapter was added to the story
In the end of the month of January

And those bright lights
On cold nights
Still remember our fights
At midnight
Or sunrise
And would always end up in teary eyes
And every time
You were out of line
I would lie and say I was fine
Cause I called you mine
And that was a crime

Snowing outside hats on our heads
Lately been hard to get out of bed
And white doves sitting on a cherry tree
And white gloves in the end of January
Memories sitting on my desk
So many questions I didn't ask
A new chapter was added to the story
In the end of the month of January

In the end of the month of January
