Oceans, Puddles, Etc.

If I'm not mistaken, I was reading 'bout this online
A pool of water really just depends on the size
And the depth and the salt & the construction that went along with it
Or lack thereof to name it

But my brain is quakin', a maze of bits of knowledge and I
should drink some water or maybe just check on the time
And the place and the mode of transportation I'll take
To get out of here

Breathe for a sec, I've been holding my breath
Identify surroundings, a painting staring, frowning
And the shape of my face mimics portraits stuck in place
And I'm hung on the wall for display

Here it comes, a great escape
All the while in running in place
Stay in shape, feel okay
A five year plan that won't last a day
But I'll get up, walk to you
The only thing that I know is true
I lose track of the time,
And forget everything I read online
