Villian Of Himself

I'm like my father
I'm just like my father
Except I'm a rapper, he's a mechanic
This is a prose poem now
I'm a prose (beep), prose poet
And who's still
Tryin' to figure it out
I can't wait to die

Sometimes, or finally feel alive
Either way, I'm tired
I'm gettin' tired
Feelin' so bad all the time

I'm the villain of himself
Gettin' drunk and pretendin' that there's no other options left
I really wish you cared, 'cause if you did
It'd be a lot easier to say that you were there for me
To the kid who always cried
To the (beep) who didn't know what to say, with tears in her eyes
You know, I just wish you cared
I really wish you cared

As relationships, relations sink
It really makes me wanna fuckin' drink
I have the power
Yeah, I know the way
To get fuckin' (beep) all goddamn day
The first step is easy, and the second step's hard
And that third step's further, and that fourth step's far
For all the ones with such regrettable births
Keep goin' back, it works

I'm the fuckin' villain of himself
Gettin' drunk and pretendin' that there's no other options left
I always wished they cared 'cause if they did
It'd be a lot easier to say they were there for me
To the kid who always cried
To (beep) who didn't know what to say, with tears in her eyes
I always wished they cared
And I still wish they cared
