Poison from my leaves
Trickles and spoils a soil that keeps me alive
It drowns my roots
With a crippling current choking my veins

Have you ever been to the dark valley?
That's covered with twisted thorns
And stretches of barren trees
craving for a pale beam of light
Why did you come here?

A resting, unconscious body
is lying on a meadow of iron grass
It restores life back
While hurting and cutting all its limbs

Every mindless step leading forward
reflects one of your inner fears
Sweet nectar of internal waste
Kills what has been left there alive
Is this what you came for?

Let me out. Let me go

Have you ever been to the dark valley?
That's covered with twisted thorns
and stretches of barren trees,
The statues of abandoned dreams
Is this what you came for?

Eventually, you will encounter
The blackbird with shady eyes.
It will greet you with undisguised scorn
In the middle of the valley
Lies a lonely stone
with a sentence engraved
That will hopefully help you escape

The reward will never come until you suffer enough
Don't blame yourself for what you've become
Don't blame the reason that brought you here
