The Flood

Earth is hopeless
There's no purpose
In keeping heathens alive
And above the surface

The people's impurity
Disrupts the community
All he can do
Is pray for immunity

If his wish is granted
He won't be stranded
But spared and afloat
Until his ship has landed

Called by God to start again
Soon his duty will begin
First the ark he will construct
Next The Flood will destruct

Bring the ender
Animals of each gender
To conceive new generations
To which he'll tender

Skies are raining,
Lakes are flowing
Times are changing now
Oceans spilling,
Land is filling
People drowning now

God take back this Earth
And cleanse it now
Nobody followed the way of thou
The world is now an ocean
God's plan is now in motion

Forty days of rain
Slowly water drains
A life of evil reign
Is not a life they can sustain

Called by God to start again
Now his duty has begin
The ark that has been constructed
Holds up to the world destructed

This is not how it was back then
But believe in him
So he can start again
This world cleansed for a better tomorrow
Condemned are those who dwell in sorrow

No fear, no sin, all evil astray
He's grateful for another day
He listens and will obey
The thoughts he cannot convey

Called by God to start again
Then his duty did begin
The ark that had been constructed
Held up to the world destructed

Forty days of rain
Slowly water drained
A life of evil reign
Was not a life they could sustain

Called by God to start again
Then his duty did begin
