A walk in the park
When I get there
There's this beautiful woman
And her little dog
So I walk up and ask her
What's his name
She says, Barney
I say
That's a nice name for a dog
Then I break her heart
And say goodbye
Continue my walk in the park
And it's a sunny day

I see an old man sitting on a bench
So I sit down and I say, Hi
He asks me if I'd like to play a game of checkers

There are children playing at the edge of the lake
One kid falls in and the ducks and geese scatter

So I go up there

Past the lake

And the beautiful woman
With her little dog
Continue on my way home
