Empathic

I know it's so sad
Meetings we have somehow end up taking us back
Nothing else left to say and it's now it's too bad
But not so bad
Many families are worse off and if you ask me
well there isn't a program
Like a toe tag
I feel frozen
Family matters keep coming up like every other Sunday
Can we go back?
Learn a lesson today and cherish every single moment

I'll be in heaven everyday jamming with Malcolm and Mike
I'll be in heaven everyday jamming with Malcolm and Mike
I'll be in heaven everyday jamming with Malcolm and Mike
So can you be empathic and note we are not alike?

Brother's always so mad at the fact that him and us
never had a real Dad
Sister gets let down
She expects too much from them when they couldn't give back
Maybe we had a golden opportunity but you both reacted
Aren't you so glad you held out on us to prove
that you didn't relapse?
This is all so relaxed
I'm appalled you kept it from us until now
I think I might move south
The hidden words you kept would have shaken this small town
and when it went down did the doctor say
"ma'am truth is secrets don't make kids proud?"

I'll be in heaven everyday jamming with Malcolm and Mike
I'll be in heaven everyday jamming with Malcolm and Mike
I'll be in heaven everyday jamming with Malcolm and Mike
So can you be empathic and note we are not alike?
