My jokes are bad and often even worse
Awkward and offensive these two things are my curse
I talk a lot that hasn't really changed
Not afraid to speak my mind since I was in seventh grade
I cannot grow my facial hair
I'm constantly adjusting my cotton underwear
I got fat in college and never really gained
The self control to know you can't use food to fix the pain

I'm not traditionally handsome, but I look good in a suit
But girls aren't really going after guys in dusty boots

I know I'm really insecure and this is purely all for show
I thought you wouldn't mind
If I was super honest for a moment of your time
'Cause if we all tell the truth
There's a lot less different between me and you

I believed my twenties was when my life would start
But now I've got no money and a bunch of broken hearts
I was told that life was more than fun and games
But now I run an Instagram in search of sex and fame

I'm not particularly gifted, more of a Jack of All Trades
And folks ain't really hiring a guy without a name

There was the cartoons, the YouTube, the book
And all my bloody music
And I positively failed each one I never finish what I start

We're all poor and bored and absolutely ignored by a world
Made for those better than us
And I apologize if you came here for advice
All I can say is you got to take it day by day
