Disoriented in a state of vast darkness
Graveless corpses jolt back to life
Bewildered masses awaiting drudgery

Minds untethered awakening
As though it all were all just a dream
They bear witness with their final moments of consciousness

Awe-stricken eyes gaze upon empyreal skies
Veridian waves devour the face of the horizon

A rift betwixt worlds steadily forms
Veiling the deity scorned
Its crucible met by violent storms
As if to protest the god reborn

The celestial aperture exposes the passage to oblivion
His apparition peers in from perdition

And from the vaporous vortex
Of eternal imprisonment
The deity's immensity
Spews through the sky with magnificence

Centuries of plotting now at long last
This destiny shall come to pass
From the clutches of exile
To revival arise reprise that which was deprived

Reemergence of power forgotten and lost
Sheer volition fuels the quest of this ravenous god

Upon the reunion of crafter and artifact
Knowledge once lost comes crawling back
Bestowed dispelling delirium
Though seething hatred remains

Dwelling in disbelief beneath the bastion
Simians fall to the digital veil again
Bound to serve their true master
Forever is their sleep

Atop the citadel a declaration is made
To sweep and swiftly conquer what remains of this plane

Heeding the call of their overlord deity
The hive mind sets out to do his bidding
Once they complete this mission
Anu will pursue his true ambition
