Cemetery

Names crowd the empty roads
And you wonder which you might have known
They're faceless
At least until dark
We can have a meet and greet
With the long lost souls reaper's already reaped
Tell us stories
And consequent dreams
Laugh and sing a song
Your voice is loud and clear they want to sing along
But they can't
Their voices are long gone

We stand here on some fools dark grave
Who died because he didn't know how to behave
I relate
Just hope it's not too late
My mistake was to bring you down
I've looked for an escape but there's nothing around
No way out
I guess I'll do it now

I failed, cried out, and sealed my fate
All I ever had to do was hesitate
And I'm left, here, in solitary
To dig a faceless grave in the cemetery

Terror, an emotion so strong
It eats away at my brain so I do everything wrong
And they laugh
While hidden under the grass
(Under the grass)
Maybe we should just go home
The walk is pretty long, and it's almost dawn
Is what I'd say
If my head were on straight

We stand here on some fools dark grave
Who died because he didn't know how to behave
I relate
Just hope it's not too late
My mistake was to bring you down
I've looked for an escape but there's nothing around
No way out
I guess I'll do it now

I failed, cried out, and sealed my fate
All I ever had to do was hesitate
And I'm left, here, in solitary
To dig a faceless grave in the cemetery

We stand here on some fools dark grave
Who died because he didn't know how to behave
I relate
Just hope it's not too late
My mistake was to bring you down
I've looked for an escape but there's nothing around
No way out
I guess I'll do it now

I failed, cried out, and sealed my fate
All I ever had to do was hesitate
And I'm left, here, in solitary
To dig a faceless grave in the cemetery
