The Dividing Line

Lurking in the shadows,
while the light shines on those ones,
who keeps us in our cave,
blinded by their gods.

Hollow footsteps mark my path,
can't trust those who "made it" -

Rather hit on ignorance,
deep-rooted in our spirit.

When you take their hammer,
they'll become your nails.
If you bow to their hand,
the whole movement fails.

Embers and reflections,
a cause to leave this place,
we all deserve more than these walls,
to live outside our fears.

We stand for the unversed,
it's the point of no return,
(I'll) leave my burdens down there,
this void won't let them burn.

When you take their hammer,
they'll become your nails.
If you bow to their hand,
the whole movement fails.

Will these walls once crumble,
or should we dig a hole?

- as long as we die trying,
they can't earn full control.

I can't embrace this vision
without a lack of faith.

The values we believe in
should define our saving grace.

Fake smiles fade wherever I roam -
so skip the prayer, cast the stone.
