All Roads Lead Back

So many times I've walked these streets
When I've been so drunk that I can't see
I'm surrounded by the bass and beats
From different clubs playing the same old scenes

With blinded eyes and tired feet
I find your door and use my key
Honey, you unlocked a piece of me
That someone else tried to delete

No matter where we are
By the mountains or sea
Or in a yellow city of electricity
All roads lead back to where we both want to be
And I open the door to you and I know I'm home

That little smile while you're still asleep
When I squeeze your hand and kiss your cheek
It's like you've always been waiting patiently
For me to hear your history

And when I find things hard you add the simplicity
Take away the pain and I feel complete
I'll trace it back to just one memory
When I opened the door to you
And I found my home
