Musical Diary (Skit)

Yeah
This just a poem from uh
Musical Diary
It's just a few thoughts that I wrote down like uh...
Maybe I was in grade eight or something
You ready to hear it?
Uh

Yeah

As I write you better listen with open-minded discretion
These words I'm about to say are for the people I'm repping
This one is about the rule book
The truth we're all neglecting
With all due respect our constitution needs amendments
Some people seem to have more power
Is it money?
Opportunities still trapped in the darkness of the past segregational society -
Of the apartheid system
Corrupt leaders steal the little light
Confining your ambitions
The Leadership is twisted
They still getting forgiven
Excuse my mistakes, sorry
Let's go
They wonder why the kids are acting sinister at school
Well we just imitate the ministers that Act the fool
A bit exaggerated right
It's the hanger from the hardships that always longs for more
It's the hunger from the hardships that always longs for more

A Question for the president
A question for the president
I said a question for the president
Is this the future of the youth that you are proud you are giving?
6 out of 10 of our women been mistreated victims
And the
Parliament is watching while
Cities are all filled with villains
Thugs
Hoes
Rapists and
Corrupt politicians

Which other croak is in admission
Do pay attention

The government been creating our necessities
Depriving us of what we need for their financial needs
They're deceivers that control us
Creating media full of make believe to console us
Our Leaders acting ignorant

Why does the world still judge me for my pigment
Our minds still stuck in the past because this hatred is a disease and I seen it sicken
Its really time for peace and real curative forgiveness
Because a lot of
People living lies that's why they're never satisfied
I hardly ever see my generation opening books to deepen their roots
Extend their knowledge
Absorb all the traditions maybe that's what's been missing
This pigment is only a reflection of ascendants
I really think its unity mistaken
We've unified against each other
For wars that are never ending
The love is still pending
Curtains opening
I see the light now
And I could lead you right to it
Listen to my words of wisdom
This is not despair that my mouth is spreading
Know what to really fight for
Fight for true independence
Don't listen to the detrimental leaders causing conflict
I believe behind every powerful army lies a coward
I think it's time no man should lead but a woman
Because she understands how hard it is to give a life
But a man's pride lies in how many he has taken
The truth is forsaken
While the lies raise my generation
Though it may seem we all idolize the wrong persona
I predict that in the future masks will still be in our identity
Even besides Corona
