NuBirth
NuSince
1987 straight from Heaven
Dropped as a blessing
To Frank and Suzi Malick
A second born legend
Older brother was a reverend
That's irreverent to his essence
He's really quite impressing
At times I tagged along with his main group of friends
When they weren't trying to ditch me I almost fit in
Then I started getting older, branched out on my own
Found a group a friends to roll around stoned
A real rolling stone Al Capone in the zone
Then I found a microphone for a desktop computer
So I started writing raps and my rhyming got smoother
It was like roto rooter, it unclogged my drain
So I let the thoughts flow off the top of my brain
I felt m is ry life change like I finally found my thang
Identity is funny
Serenityunning
So I gotta go catch it
I gotta light the match stick
And set the world ablaze
And then my thoughts started spilling out onto a page
I felt my world change when I stood up on that stage
And when I dropped the mic and the whole crowd screamed
I knew I'd reach my dreams and I'd have a steady stream of fans or and fiends for my Music
But then I got reclusive and afraid of how to do it
I let the fear of failure deter me from my purpose
I paralyzed myself cuz I didn't think I'm worth it
I focused on the surface and threw away my spirit
And after 10 years now I want you all to hear it for fear that this will clear it how I'm Gifted with a lyric
Wordsmith NuSince scripting all my struggle raps
I never burned a bridge just in case I need to double back
I think you're all in trouble that I've finally hit my stride
I'm showing outside what I'm made of INSIDE
Never have I lied
Just kept you entertained
And now I have a new sense that can't be explained
I'm looking past pain like a window frames glass
I'm healing where I'm broken like the plaster of a cast
A master of this craft
And I'm never gonna quit
Until I'm out of spit or until I don't exist
I swung a lot and missed
And occasionally a hit
I never was a flashy bat flipping after dingers
And I wouldn't waste my life on it cuz I could sting ya
I buzz like the bees Wu tang taught me that
So I know for a fact that I owe my life to rap
The BOOM BAP
True that
He's a real nuisance
