Who Can Stand Against You

There was a man with a stick in his hand
A stick in his hand yes a stick in his hand
Thou he was old and he spoke very bad
Spoke very bad yet god had a plan

HE used his brother, birth from the same mother
To talk to the brother of the woman he called mother
To warn a king of a plague that will come, claim his first born son
If he don't let god's people go

If god is for you, who can stand against You

Here they find themselves smackdab in the middle
Ahead of them the red sea, behind them comes the pharaoh
As the fear kicks in, they believed it was the end
Moses stuck out his hand as part of god's plan

As they place their feet on the dry sand
Where a moment ago there was a sea filled land
As they walk through the sea with the waves standing tall
Looking down at god's children but don't dare to fall

But still pharaoh came with his many many men
With their shields and their swards and their anger at the lord
They ran and they ride through the sea through the night
To take from the lord by force or by fight

As god had enough, they ran to retreat
There was no going back there was only defeat
As the sea made away with pharaoh that day
GOD'S people was free an well on their way

If god is for you, who can be against you?
