Lulu Crane's Childhood

Lulu Crane's father mother and brother came to Jackass Land to dig for gold and get rich
But her brother died drown in a hole full of mud and water
Her mother died giving birth to Lulu Crane in eighteen forty-nine
From that day her father became a gambling man

He shut her in prose
He put her in the closet
Because he liked her still
And made her brain go round

She's so scared of spiders
So scared of spiders
So scared of spiders
So scared of spiders

In Jackass Land there was a man called Preach
And Preach was a lucky man he was the man who found
The biggest nugget ever found by any man in Jackass Land
From that day he started to gamble and gamble
But Preach never lost his big nugget and one night he bet it against a wife

Will there be a morning
Such a thing as a day
Will you reveal again
Cos' they are gambling on you

She's so scared of spiders
So scared of spiders
So scared of spiders
So scared of spiders

That night Preach lost his gold
That night he won his wife
Like a gift she's your rescue
Now Preach is the Preacher man

She's so scared of spiders
So scared of spiders
So scared of spiders
So scared of spiders
