The Problems
my playstyle is no longer valid
and I'm not having fun anymore
slowly pushed out by competing industries
and artificial alkaline intelligence cores
there is a demographically demonstrable surplus
of highly educated young women in the city centre
clawing, clambering their way to the top
of their Maslow pyramid schemes
discontent and disallowed
to actually apply their many talents
as they're forced through a revolving door
of ever younger, ever more eager new minds
eager but not quite yet ripe
ready for the plucking by those who, established as they are
hope to milk them of their essence and eventually
hop on to a nice government career
wouldn't we all like to sap them like formidable trees
watching them wither
as they're drained of the essential oils and minerals
that we need to survive
wouldn't we all like to be on top for one day
well, we will be one day
and it won't just be for one day, now witness me, yeah
so we waltz around and toil
waiting for our turn to perpetuate the upward cycle
because surely everything is improving
surely constant growth is the only way
convinced in our hearts that we are
the shining indigo children
a real added value to any product or service imaginable
24/7, call me
an eye for an eye
such a therapeutic smile
an eye for an eye
such a therapeutic smile
an eye for an eye
so incandescent, so worthwhile
an eye for an eye
oh baby, say it
it's a solemn life, but we're willing
it's a solemn life, but we're willing to try
it's a solemn life, but we're willing
it's a solemn life, but it's living
and I'm not having fun anymore
slowly pushed out by competing industries
and artificial alkaline intelligence cores
there is a demographically demonstrable surplus
of highly educated young women in the city centre
clawing, clambering their way to the top
of their Maslow pyramid schemes
