The Rats In the Walls (feat. STEELIANOS & STELIOS ANATOLITIS)

Deep inside the bowels of my home
Under the cupboard and the floors
Behind black curtains and locked doors

In the darkest hour of the night
When all lie still the creatures hide
They glide around making no sound

But my cat hears them
Or somehow feels them
He hates and fears them

Rats in the walls

Deep inside the bowels of my home
Under the cupboard and the floors
Behind black curtains and locked doors

In the darkest hour of the night
When all lie still the creatures hide
They glide around making no sound

But my cat hears them
Or somehow feels them
He hates and fears them

Rats in the walls

The family mansion reeks of death
The cellar's built with ancient stones
Over a temple Romans used

The restoration took awhile
And Exham Priory now stands proud
Over the land where Saxons bled

Where Celts built holly shrines
And Romans marble gods
Behind my cellar door
Lie ruins of them all

There was a hidden crypt
In the sub-cellar vault where we descended to find answers
A vast deserted land
A city in the dark older than man was buried underground

Half human remains
A sick twilight revealed
Half eaten bones

Vermin prosper
Rodents conquer
Thousands coming
They're attacking me!

Although I know that this is too much to believe
I swear to god I speak the truth
We run like madmen to ascent the narrow path
Me and my team we had no hope, no clue how to avoid them
They where everywhere
We where drawn in a breathing river
Blind in the darkness
Suddenly I felt something plump touching me...

I sunk my teeth deep
Into warm and soft flesh
When they finally found me
Man and corpse were one

With my mouth and eyes red
I had become death
The rats in the walls
My teeth in my comrade's neck
