someone died on my way to work
but i took the toll road
so it wasn't a big concern
someone died and they blocked three lanes
but luckily for me
my commute was barely delayed
it's easy enough to forget about death
until confronted by a charred skeleton of a midsize suv
an ambulance with nothing to do
four miles of cars waiting and they're frustrated too
in three weeks the pavement will still be black
