Wasn't sure that I would ever see this day coming
Getting closer to the things that I've been working for and everything I ever wanted
I remember being down to nothing
When I ain't have a dollar to my name
I pushed to show myself that someday I'd amount to something
And that was when everything had to change
I couldn't bottle the pain, so I let it out
I found a way to express it

I couldn't do it the same, though I had my doubts
That anyone would respect it
Had fears of being rejected, but
