Figures in the Clouds

Finding figures in the clouds keeps my head upon my feet
I'm getting bored of what's up there but it's not like I can see
We're climbing trees and casually contending the unknown
But some odd days just aren't the same
'cause they bring us all back home

Oh no
How could I ever know
I'll fold
It's time I face up alone

Simple things are saving me from everything I knew
We're passing pokes of pine in hope our spirits catch a clue
And I know I'm getting older, but it's getting hard to tell
What I wanna be
What I wanna see

Speculating sky is breaking
What's the use of overstating?
What's the use to think that we won't see

Night is breaking, overtaking
Seems to us like the day is changing
Seems to us like our thoughts are changing loudly

Oh no
How could I ever know
I'll fold
It's time I face up alone

Times are changing night
