They say they care
The truth is that they seek advantage from me
My secrets lie unopened
I've prepared myself

Betrayed, aware, behind, they are, a cursed grievance on me
What was to stay unbroken

Only the empty defenses
They won't relent, all this world, seeds the voice of treason
Echoes relentless in my head
The need of depth, the pain, of failing to win
They are only depraved
So much to learn, they cry, but with no insight
Compassion fades in time

They want, your heart, so that, they can, continue feeding on me
They bear no marked resemblance
But a shameless face

And look, as glass, their life, their past
I see right through them
Shattered as they've become now
I still see myself

What I am, I feed, to my reflection but nothing ever comes back
Sapien bent, as I resent, but they share these chains of burden
Why should they be forgiven

Not forgiven
I will choose hate
The pain I've wasted
Anguish displaced from me
