Hera's Wrath
Hera watched from above as Zeus eyed yet another
Jealousy rose as he crept like a snake towards her
Was she going to have to kill again?
A mortal slain to keep her reign
Hera watched as the two became lovers
Zeus in disguise, full of lies and eyes full of thunder
Did the poor girl even know who he really was?
Either way Hera drew her claws
The young girl looked up as the goddess descended on her
She looked to her husband's eyes but they were his no longer
An awful terror struck her heart
As Hera's wrath tore her apart
Jealousy rose as he crept like a snake towards her
Was she going to have to kill again?
A mortal slain to keep her reign
Hera watched as the two became lovers
Zeus in disguise, full of lies and eyes full of thunder
Did the poor girl even know who he really was?
Either way Hera drew her claws
The young girl looked up as the goddess descended on her
She looked to her husband's eyes but they were his no longer
An awful terror struck her heart
As Hera's wrath tore her apart
