There's all this pain inside
I'm not even tryin to hide it anymore
Had everything I wanted
Now nothing brings me happiness as pure
There've been dark days where I've tried to push it away
Nothing really feels like home
Take care of others but put yourself first
You know it doesn't make much sense when u try and put it in a verse

There are no instructions written for this life
No one's every really prepared for anything in their life
It's the mindset that helps you through
No one has the answers, not even the experts
And that's what's tearing me up inside
The world was such a friendly place
I felt at peace, gifted, wholesome, blessed
But now every morning
It's a struggle to be my best

I really feel defeated
And have so many questions
Why me
I had finally made it
Built up that confidence
I felt free
I am letting this get me down a few days here and there
But I'll only come out stronger
When you're ready to be done
Yeah I'm gonna run
No one will see me coming
And nothing will stop me then
