Asylum

Help me
Please

Numbness will always surface
The cycle never breaks because it's too easy to forget
The misery you breathe
When everything you feel is dead under your skin
There's not a second to waste
Until alone's what you do best

The world around me
Is like a spreading cancer
And I taste isolation
With a bitter sense of reason
Their poisons forced down my throat
But I will never swallow
You think my thoughts aren't my own?
I think I'm better off alone

So lock the door on me
And throw away the key
So when the silence becomes enough
We can embrace the feeling we hate
We feel the most

In my asylum is where you'll find me

Numbness is now the surface
So let us walk with our heads held high
Is it honourable?
To waste your life for others
Who would remove you like a tumour
When they see you become cancer?

Crushed by the world and spat at by the masses
Open your mind it's you who is fascist

Tyrants and treason, the problem is that we just leave them
Idols with IQ's less than fingers on their praying hands

Just listen, to reason
And rise above a world that's grieving

Push me out and forget me
I am on a separate path
Lost so deep inside with walls
Screaming either side of me

The world around me is a spreading cancer

Forget me not for I will speak
Of only things that
Make the numbness dissipate
A world of lies
People of diseased minds
And the brain dead generation at it's finest

So lock the door on me
And throw away the key
So when the silence becomes enough
We can embrace the feeling we hate
We feel the most

So let's embrace the feeling is hate
We feel the most
