Rain Cloud

I'm floating here in limbo
A fleecy wispy cloud
Like cotton candy pillows
High above the ground

A gust of wind from nowhere
Can change my fragile shape
Each day I'm something different
Yet somehow I'm the same

I'm a puffy little fluffy little wannabe raincloud
High up in the sky
But I don't believe that I will ever be a rain cloud
I'm always in disguise
The people down below don't wanna see a raincloud
They're counting on the sun
So a puffy little fluffy little wannabe raincloud
Must be the only one

Constant silver lining
Makes me feel so small
It shines so bright and blinds me
My unwanted downfall

The other clouds around me
Are sure of their own space
Their presence is astounding
I feel so out of place

I'm a puffy little fluffy little wannabe raincloud
High up in the sky
But I don't believe that I will ever be a rain cloud
I'm always in disguise
The people down below don't wanna see a raincloud
They're counting on the sun
So a puffy little fluffy little wannabe raincloud
Must be the only one

I don't want them to see me
Without my cotton fluff
I'm meant to be a beacon
For when the times are rough

But if it's always sunny
Without rain they can't grow
They don't know that they're missing
Without me down below

I am wanted
I am enough
I am needed
For more than just my fluff

I'm a puffy little fluffy little wannabe raincloud
High up in the sky
And I do believe that I will ever be a rain cloud
Though I'm always in disguise
The people down below don't wanna see a raincloud
They're counting on the sun
But a puffy little fluffy little wannabe raincloud
Can't be the only one

No I'm not the only one
